Monthly Activity:  Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show  Held at Knott's Berry Farm. Parking volunteers meet at 6:00 AM in parking lot. Gates open at 7:00 AM. Arrive early for easy parking. Show starts at 9:00 AM. Look in future issues of "Bird Calls" for entry forms.

 Monthly Activity:  An overnight trip to Solvang.  Ideas for activities while there is a possible boat/tour of Lake Cachuma and a winery tour.   Svendsgaarads has been selected as the hotel we are staying in but there are others if you would like to stay at one of them.  Svendsgaards humber is (805) 688-3277 and there are rooms available now.  Their Queen size bed is $85/night.  Their King is $98/night.  They also have King with a fireplace, 2 double beeds and 2 Queen at various prices.  For more details call Martha Lazdins at (949) 661-1426 and if you are going please let her know so she can set up dinner places.
